Comenius Project 3th year: Studying Technologies Of Regenerative Energies
The solar energy is not among the most exploited, although it is among the easiest and the most economic to be used. This discouraging reality of course shows the lack of culture about enviroment and energy, taking us in an inferior position compared to other European and overseas countries. There are foreign countries, which care much more about the use and conver sion of the energy coming from the sun, although they have worse climatic conditions and lower daily level of solar rays. It (...).
The differents parts of our article : What is geothermal energy? How have people used geothermal energy in the past? How do we use geothermal energy today? How is electricity generated using geothermal energy? What are some of the advantages? Geothermal energy - worldwide; Geothermal energy in Portugal-Azores.

We went to Waigandshain, to learn the secrets of manufacturing wind turbines. The company which was founded 40 years ago, was orginally a forge and became a wind turbine manufacturer twenty years ago.
The first turbine it produced was 100 m high, had two blades and 3MW of power. It did not work, as the wind made it vibrate rather than rotate. The power had to be reduced to 30 KW before the turbine could function. There have been many changes over the last 20 years and the (...).
This web site is the common website of an European Comenius
Project. In these pages you will see all the articles produced
by our students and all the evolution of the project for the
next 3 years. This project is about the renewable energies,
the name of S.T.O.R.E is for : Studying the
Technologies Of Regenerative
Energies.
